VMSA Launches New Website to Enhance Maritime Access and Safety

June 17, 2025

The Vanuatu Maritime Safety Authority (VMSA) is proud to announce the launch of its new official website, designed and built in partnership with Lionfish Design Studios. The platform provides a modern, user-friendly space for the public, seafarers, and industry stakeholders to access vital maritime information and services.

The new site features real-time alerts, marine notices, and coastal warnings, helping mariners stay informed and safe at sea. It also offers easy access to downloadable forms, updated fees, and allows users to report maritime incidents directly to VMSA for timely response and follow-up.

The website is part of VMSA’s commitment to improving communication, transparency, and community engagement in the maritime sector. Whether you’re a ship operator, port user, or a concerned citizen, the new site offers an accessible gateway to everything related to maritime safety and governance in Vanuatu.

For those wishing to get in touch, the Contact page provides full details for reaching the VMSA head office in Port Vila, as well as regional offices located in Santo and other key provinces. Phone numbers, email addresses, and office hours are listed to ensure the public and industry have direct access to the services they need.
